Practical information about Norway
Weather
Bergen is known for its variable and often unpredictable weather, with a good chance of rain. To stay comfortable and enjoy the event to the fullest, we kindly recommend bringing a raincoat and an umbrella. Let’s be prepared and make the most of the Conference - rain or shine!
Currency
The currency in Norway is the Norwegian Krone (NOK, kr). Most places do not accept US Dollars or Euros, so it's recommended to convert currency at airports, currency exchange offices, or use local ATMs. Most banks are open from 09:00 to 15:00/16:00 Monday to Friday. ATMs are widely available in cities and towns.
