Ben D. Groom, University of Exeter and Grantham Research Institute
Ben is currently the Dragon Capital Chair in Biodiversity Economics at the Department of Economics, University of Exeter. Between 2012 and 2020 Ben was a Professor of Environment and Development Economics at the Department of Geography and Environment at the London School of Economics and Political Science. Ben studied a BSc in Economics at Sheffield University, an MSC in Environmental and Resource Economics at UCL, and completed his PhD in Economics at UCL in 2005 on the topic of empirical and theoretical aspects of social discounting for distant time horizons.
Linda Nøstbakken is an economist and the research director of Statistics Norway since May 2020. Prior to that she was deputy rector and professor at the Norwegian School of Economics. Her research focuses on the use and management of natural resources and the environment.
Nicole Wägner is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Economics since August 2023. She received her PhD from the Technical University Berlin in 2022. Prior to joining NHH, she has been a postdoctoral researcher at the RWI Leibniz Institute for Economic Research.
Nicole's main research interests include environmental economics and applied microeconometrics. Her current work focuses on the impact of local pollution externalities on humans and firms and the effectiveness of pollution mitigation policies.
