EAERE 2017 ‐ Call for Papers

Paper submissions are now closed.

The 23rd Annual Conference of the European Association of Environmental and Resource Economists (EAERE) will be held in Athens, Greece from 28 June to 1 July 2017. EAERE 2017 is being organized by the International Centre for Research on the Environment and the Economy (ICRE8), in collaboration with Athens University of Economics and Business, the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, and ATHENA Research and Innovation Center.

You are invited to submit theoretical and empirical papers in all areas of environmental and resource economics for presentation at the EAERE Annual Conference. Papers should be submitted here. The deadline for paper submissions is 31 January 2017. Paper submitters will be notified as to the outcome of the peer review process on 30 March 2017.

Please note that the full paper is required in order to conduct the review process. Once the review process is completed, authors of accepted papers can choose to have only the abstract of their paper made available on the conference site.
 
Please note that although there is no limit to the number of submissions per person, the maximum number of presentations per person will be limited to one. Authors must be registered for the Conference by 8 May 2017 in order for their papers to be included in the programme. All further details of the submission procedure can be found on the Conference website.
 
Please take notice of the separate calls for policy and thematic sessions. The submission deadline for these special sessions is also 31 January 2017.

 

Travel Grants

A limited number of grants of EUR 1,500 each are being offered by EAERE. Instructions as to how to apply for these EAERE grants are available here. The deadline for applications is 31 January 2017.

30 March 2017: Notification of outcome of paper reviewing process

28 April 2017: Early registration deadline

8 May 2017: Date by which presenting authors must register in order to be included in the programme

5 June 2017: Preliminary programme release

28 June – 1 July 2017: The EAERE 2017 Conference
