Travelling to Athens

The Athens International Airport AIA is located 33 km southeast of Athens and is easily accessible via Attiki Odos, a six-lane motorway (the Athens City Ring Road).

Regardless of flight origin, passengers from all incoming flights exit from the Arrivals Level of the Main Terminal Building. Public transportation to Athens is provided by express airport shuttles on a 24-hour basis, while a direct Metro line connects the airport to the city center (Syntagma square) in less than 40 minutes.
