Conference Venue - The University of Manchester

The University of Manchester is the largest and most diverse conference location in the North West, with the majority of venues stretching from the city centre to the leafy outskirts of Fallowfield.

Facilities include tiered theatres seating up to 1000, flat-floored meeting rooms for 4 to 675, high quality audio-visual equipment, imaginative menus, exhibition space, over 4500 bedrooms in four types of accommodation as well as one dedicated year-round conference centre.

University Place

The conference will be held at University Place. This venue houses the largest dedicated lecture theatre in the Greater Manchester region. It is an ideal venue for large international conferences and boasts a large number of flexible, flat-floored rooms for discussion groups.

It has been fitted out with the most up to date audio-visual aids and there is a highly qualified technical support team on site who can also advise on Wi-Fi and wired internet access around the building.

Located at the centre of the campus, University Place is no more than a 5-minute walk from any of the other teaching buildings or the majestic Whitworth Hall and equally impressive Manchester Museum.
